Job summary

Boulay Financial Advisors, LLC in Minnesota is seeking an Assurance Associate to perform compilations, reviews, and audits for a diverse client base. You will participate in planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and financial reporting with direct client contact from day one.

As a graduate, you will receive mentoring from Partners and opportunities for in-house training and seminars to grow professionally across attest services and software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting and/or 150 credit hours.
• 0-3 years of accounting experience.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA and a solid record of academic achievement.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with GAAP and attestation standards.
• Exemplary communication and organizational skills.
• Desire to learn and develop professionally; ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform compilations, reviews, and audits of financial statements.
• Perform attestation services including cash, property, accounts payable, revenue testing, and accrued liabilities.
• Plan and coordinate work on assigned segments of an engagement.
• Prepare client financial statements and related documents.
• Research technical issues and prepare drafts of client communications.
• Learn and demonstrate competency with necessary software.
• Work directly with clients, both in person and electronically.
