Job summary

BDO USA, LLP in Minnesota seeks an Assurance Experienced Associate responsible for preparing financial statements with disclosures, applying basic GAAP, and documenting control testing. The role may involve reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements.

You will work within the control environment, GAAP, GAAS, and methodology areas, supporting engagement teams, maintaining documentation, and traveling as needed to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics, required OR Bachelor's degree in other focus area and CPA certification, required
• Master's in Accountancy, preferred
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exams upon starting employment, required

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements with disclosures and apply GAAP as needed
• Document, validate, and test internal controls
• Assist with reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements
• Support engagement teams with audit testing and documentation
