HBK is seeking a capable accounting professional to join our growing firm. The candidate will start full-time in January 2027 and work within our audit team to understand client needs, perform analytics, assess risks, and draft financial statements.

We value teamwork, communication, detailed work, and the pursuit of CPA credentials. Prior public accounting experience is preferred, with proficiency in QuickBooks and audit software supporting a collaborative, client‑focused culture.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting is required or in progress.
• Working toward CPA with active pursuit is expected.
• Experience in public accounting is preferred.
• Able to interact with all staff and clients.
• Strong writing and research skills are essential.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Working toward CPA.
• Previous public accounting experience preferred.
• Team player and ability to work well in a group.
• Detail and task oriented.
• Adequate research and writing skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of staff and clients.
• A competent working knowledge of accounting and audit software required.
• Proficient in QuickBooks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding clients’ needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values and industry-related GAAP and GAAS issues.
• Developing an understanding of the audit approach and tools.
• Assessing risks and evaluating the client’s internal control structure.
• Performing analytics, substantive tests, and tests of internal controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues.
• Drafting financial statements.
