The University of St. Thomas (Saint Paul, MN) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Genetics, Ecology, and Evolution beginning September 2027.

Candidates who integrate genetics and ecology are especially encouraged to apply and will teach BIO courses across the undergraduate curriculum. We seek a candidate committed to the teacher-scholar model, with responsibilities including designing and teaching six four-credit courses per year and mentoring undergraduate

Qualifications

• PhD in Biology or related field, or ABD candidates nearing completion with appointment at instructor rank.
• Research expertise in Genetics, Ecology and Evolution required.

Responsabilités

• Teach undergraduate biology courses at introductory and upper-division levels.
• Mentor undergraduate researchers; mentees supported within a 6-course teaching load.
