Job summary

Jobs on a Ship is seeking an Assistant Manager Production – Lighting to join our onboard teams. This remote position on Cunard ships involves leading lighting operation, design for large shows, cabarets and bands, and ensuring safe, reliable systems.

You will deputise for the Production Manager when required and coordinate with crews to deliver seamless productions while upholding our health and safety standards. We welcome applicants who thrive under pressure and value exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Operating and programming of lighting control consoles.
• Operating, maintaining, and repairing lighting systems.
• Use of AMX control systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide the management of lighting operation.
• Light design for large shows, cabarets, bands, various musical programmes and much more.
• Operate, maintain and repair lighting systems in a safe and effective manner.
• Coordinate with others to ensure a complete and seamless production.
• Deputise for the Production Manager when required.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the company’s health and safety guidelines and regulations.
