Assistant Patient Care Manager

The Assistant Patient Care Manager is responsible for the day-to‑day supervision of nursing operations, ensuring quality care for patients and their families. Mentors, serves as a resource, and provides support for staff and faculty on clinical nursing issues while meeting the department, nursing, and organization goals. Oversees clinical care performed by assigned nursing staff.

Education & Certification

• Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum Field of Study: Nursing or other related field of study
• Minimum Education Notes: Associate's degree with BSN in process, to be completed within University program guidelines, not to exceed four (4) years from date of hire.
• Preferred Education Level: Master's Degree
• Preferred Field of Study: Nursing
• Preferred Education Notes: Licensure Certification Needed: Yes Minimum Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN)Basic Life Support (BLS) Minimum Licensure (Other): Training Required: Strong computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Advanced nursing skills; IV therapy, intervention with emergencies, teaching skills. Demonstrated competency in in-patient and out-patient best practices including patient care, technology, and processes
