BENCHMARK is seeking an Assistant Aesthetic Manager at Deloitte University Hotel & Training Center in Westlake, Texas. This role involves maintaining the aesthetic aspects of the property and managing a team. You will recruit, train, and oversee staff while ensuring high standards of maintenance.
The ideal candidate has at least two years of relevant experience in construction or maintenance and strong computer skills. A Texas driver’s license and ability to read blueprints are necessary for this position.

Maintains and improves the aesthetic aspects of the property—including walls, ceilings, floors, furniture, fixtures, window treatments, signage, landscaping, parking lot upkeep, and other finishes. Directly oversees the guest room preventive maintenance program.
Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, training, coaching, discipline, and conducting performance appraisals for direct reports. Creates schedules, approves employees’ time, time off and shift changes. Assigns, trains, supports, and directs staff to perform efficiently while maintaining property policies and standards. Coaches, develops, and provides feedback for staff growth.
Organizes and oversees the guestroom preventive maintenance program: schedules and assigns work, keeps systems updated, improves efficiency, inspects work quality, uses a maintenance work‑order system to distribute and track work, maintains records and data, and ensures adequate inspections (25% staff, 100% contractors). Responds to guest requests, aiming to resolve 90% within 15 minutes and 80% within 30 minutes. Ensures correct use of office equipment, EMS systems, and life‑safety systems.
• Two years related experience in construction, project management, punch‑out, or commercial building maintenance; one year supervisory experience required.• Demonstrated understanding of building finishes and related service fields.• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.• Good computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook required.• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Teams is desirable.• Knowledge or use of a service ticketing system preferred; HotSOS experience desirable.• Texas driver’s license with a good driving record required.• Must be 21+ years old.
