Responsibilities

1. Set up equipment accurately and in accordance with proper and safe setup techniques.
2. Inspect all tooling before and after runs to ensure necessary repairs are made before the next run. Minimize material sheet, ink, and adhesive waste.
3. Assist Machine Operator in operating machines, ensuring efficiency and the production of quality products.
4. Maximize equipment utilization by operating machinery at available capacity and speed.
5. Submit maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.
6. Complete daily and weekly equipment clean-ups.
7. Provide recommendations for optimizing schedules to meet cost, quality, and service goals.
8. Perform continuous quality control by randomly checking material size, scoring, slotting, printing, and folding.
9. Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
10. Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
11. Follow GBP quality policy to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred. Prior experience in the corrugated industry is a plus.
