Responsibilities

• Set up equipment accurately and in accordance with proper and safe setup techniques.
• Inspect all tooling before and after runs to ensure necessary repairs are made before the next run. Minimize material sheet, ink, and adhesive waste.
• Assist Machine Operator in operating machines to ensure efficiency and quality production.
• Maximize equipment utilization by operating machinery at available capacity and speed.
• Submit maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.
• Complete daily and weekly equipment clean-ups.
• Provide recommendations for optimizing schedules to meet cost, quality, and service goals.
• Perform continuous quality control by randomly checking material size, scoring, slotting, printing, and folding.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, practicing safe work habits.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
• Adhere to GBP quality policy to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of relevant experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
