Wayne County Commissioners in Wooster, OH seek an experienced Assistant County Administrator to oversee administrative, finance, and budgeting functions across multiple departments. You will help manage self‑insured health and liability programs, coordinate grants, and guide capital projects within a strong retirement system and generous benefits.

A Bachelor’s in accounting or related field with three years of relevant management is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in accounting or related field; three years' responsible management and financial administrative experience required.
• Supervisory and public sector experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Supports Administrative, Finance, and Budgetary Offices; ensures departments follow ORC and policies.
• Assists with Insurance Administration and health plan management exceeding $10 million.
• Manages federal, state, and county revenue, grants, post‑award compliance, and capital projects involvement.
• Assists with Bargaining Unit matters and negotiations.
• Acts in place of the County Administrator when requested.
