Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Elgin, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant to greet patients, assist with registration and scheduling, and take vital signs. You will support physicians during examinations, minor surgeries, and other first aid procedures, with occasional travel to St.

Charles and South Elgin clinics. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Medical Assistant program, and active MA certification (AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or related health science study.
• Active medical assistant certification (AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA) required.
• CPR certification required or willing to obtain on hire.
• Phlebotomy certification may be completed within 90 days of hire.
• 2 years in a medical office or MA/CMA/CNA/EMT role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, assist with registration and scheduling.
• Measure vital signs and collect health history.
• Support physicians during examinations and minor procedures.
• Assist with immunizations or injections as needed.
• Conduct onsite lab testing including EKG, glucose, urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, welcoming exam rooms and deliver customer service aligned with CARE values.

Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
