The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Athletics Department seeks an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Spirit Squad to provide evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation for student-athletes with emphasis on practice and event coverage.

Perform a variety of duties involved in the administration, evaluation, treatment, care, and rehabilitation of student-athletes within the University of Nebraska Athletic Department. The focus of responsibilities will be with the Nebraska Spirit Squad including practice and event coverage, and any required travel. Working with the teams will involve some non-traditional hours, nights, weekends, some holidays. Adherence to all NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations will be required.
Criminal history background check and driving record check will be conducted. Excellent benefits including staff/dependent scholarship program. Applicant review begins August 26. Minimum qualifications: Professional degree (Bachelor's or Master's degree from a CAATE accredited program). BOC/NATA certification and ability to obtain Nebraska State licensure required. Emergency response certification (CPR, basic life support) necessary. Must have a valid driver's license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
