Job summary

YMCA of the USA is seeking an Association Aquatics Director to lead the development, organization, implementation, and evaluation of the aquatics department. This role ensures consistent aquatic operations across the association and drives preventative maintenance and safety programs.

The position requires strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, leadership experience, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of technology.
• Minimum of two years leadership experience.
• Three to five years customer service experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

The Association Aquatics Director is responsible for the development, organization, implementation and evaluation of the department, while helping to ensure aquatic operations are consistent across the association and run smoothly with the implementation of preventative maintenance plans and safety procedures.

• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age
• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of technology
• Minimum of two (2) years leadership experience in related field(s)
• Three (3) to five (5) years of customer service experience preferred
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, afternoons, evening and weekends
