Job summary

Weber Gallagher in New Jersey is seeking an Associate to join the Workers’ Compensation group. The role handles a wide range of workers’ compensation matters across our New Jersey offices, with hybrid work from Mt. Laurel or Bedminster.

The candidate will analyze complex issues, draft pleadings, manage discovery, and communicate with clients, the court, witnesses, and opposing counsel. 4–8 years’ experience, NJ bar, and strong research and writing skills are required.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience, preferably in workers’ compensation matters.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• NJ active and good standing bar license, required.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to travel.

Weber Gallagher has an opening for a highly-skilled and experienced associate attorney to join our firm in the Workers’ Compensation group in either of our New Jersey offices. The individual will be responsible for handling a wide range of workers' compensation matters.

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct well-reasoned legal research.
• Draft pleadings, answer written discovery, handle court hearings and trials.
• Communicate with clients, the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel while adhering to all deadlines.
• Ability to travel for court, client meetings, etc.
• Ability to work out of our NJ Offices (Mt. Laurel or Bedminster) in a hybrid capacity.

Requirements
