We Are Legal Revolution in Southern California seeks a midlevel attorney to lead applicant-side workers’ compensation matters with frequent court appearances and direct client advocacy in a contingency-fee setting.

The position is remote with a primary base in the Ontario area and regional travel as needed across Southern California. A path to partnership is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar admission in good standing.
• 3–5 years of workers’ compensation experience (applicant-side preferred).
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Ability to handle a court-heavy caseload and adapt to practice direction.

Responsibilities

• Manage applicant-side workers’ compensation matters from intake through resolution.
• Appearances and litigation tasks before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, including conferences and hearings.
• Draft and argue motions; manage discovery and evidence development.
• Take and defend depositions and work with medical and other case-related experts as needed.
• Negotiate case resolution and advise clients throughout the life of the claim.
• Coordinate coverage across Southern California when needed.

$120,000 to $160,000 base salary.

REQUIREMENTS

• Active California Bar admission, in good standing.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant workers’ compensation experience (applicant-side preferred).
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Ability to handle a court-heavy caseload and adapt to practice direction.
• Willingness to be primarily based in the Ontario area with Southern California travel/coverage.

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

• Strong experience appearing before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.
• Involvement (or interest in becoming involved) in local and state bar associations.
• Highly coachable, trainable approach with a practical, client-forward mindset.
