Modern Woodmen of America | The Smith Region

We're looking for purpose-driven individuals ready to build a meaningful career in financial services, whether you're just starting out or transitioning from another field. As an Associate Planner, you'll receive hands-on mentorship, structured training, and a clear pathway toward becoming a fully licensed Financial Representative.

Many of our current leaders come from diverse backgrounds including hospitality, banking, education, military service, management, athletics, and more, and have found long-term success by focusing on relationships over transactions. If you're passionate about helping others and building a stable career with impact, this could be your perfect fit.

What You Can Expect:

  • A relationship-first culture focused on service
  • Senior reps who mentor and invest in your growth
  • Flexibility and autonomy, backed by a supportive team
  • A chance to serve families and small business owners across North-Central Texas (and beyond)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the local team with client communication, appointment coordination, and the full business development cycle
  • Help prepare personalized planning materials, reports, and documentation
  • Maintain accurate and compliant client records
  • Participate in client meetings, supporting follow-through and service
  • Engage in marketing and outreach efforts to help grow the client base
  • Develop industry knowledge through ongoing education and mentorship

Perks & Benefits:

This role offers competitive compensation with strong income potential and a clear path for advancement. Team members benefit from comprehensive benefits, including retirement plans, fraternal programs that enhance family life, and hands-on training and development from experienced leaders. Our culture emphasizes support, open communication, and a shared commitment to personal and professional growth. You'll also have opportunities to participate in local volunteer projects and community initiatives because we believe in giving back while building a career with purpose.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Professionalism and attention to detail
  • Motivation to grow within the financial planning field
  • A passion for helping others achieve long-term goals
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Openness to obtaining required licenses and certifications

Who We Are

  • A team of like-minded professionals who value collaboration, service, and community impact
  • Focused on building relationships, not just managing assets
  • Led by a support staff that ensures smooth operations, including paraplanning and recruiting roles

Who We Serve

  • Based in North-Central Texas (from Gainesville to Waxahachie, Coppell to Mt. Pleasant)
  • Licensed to serve clients nationwide where needed

What We Believe In

  • Relationships first: our mission is to build, create, and foster strong personal and professional relationships to better serve others
  • A team culture where senior reps serve and support new associates
  • Living out our values through fraternalism and community leadership

If you're ready to unleash your competitive drive and embark on a career that changes lives, join our team.
