Description

Gold Coast Center for Veterinary Care is looking for an Associate Veterinarian with special interest in Oncology to join our team.

Partnering with and learning from Dr. Caroline Hohlman, our board-certified Oncologist, the Associate will see recheck oncology appointments, help with client phone calls, handle minor oncology emergency cases (daytime only!), address minor, non-cancer related concerns with patients when they come in for rechecks, perform occasional small surgical procedures, and occasional minor emergency procedures (such as thoracocentesis, fluid therapy, etc.).

Some expansion highlights include 8,000 more sqft. of treatment space, an additional operating room, 6 more exam rooms, a dedicated CT room, and upgrades to our in-house lab!
  • A large, state-of-the-art facility with colleagues in advanced Surgery, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Oncology, Rehabilitation, Behavior, and Theriogenology to collaborate with.
  • A team of dedicated, highly-skilled professionals who want to provide our patients and clients with compassionate and high-quality veterinary care and exceptional service.
  • No after-hours or on-call responsibilities.
  • A satellite, on-campus location with 24/7 inpatient and emergency care at West Hills Animal Hospital & Emergency Center.


Veterinarian Requirements:

  • Active veterinarian licensure or license-eligible to practice in the state of New York
  • Enthusiasm for and special interest in oncology medicine
  • A partnering collaborator who wants to work with great colleagues and practice excellent medicine

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and relevant credentials with an annual base salary range of $140,000.00 - $160,000.00, along with other compensation components which may include additional pay incentives.
