All God's Creatures Veterinary Hospital in Augusta, Georgia is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our busy practice. The role offers mentorship from experienced doctors and opportunities to grow your clinical interests while enjoying autonomy in decision-making.

We handle wellness and sick visits, dentistry, surgery, and occasional emergencies with a collaborative team. Expect a varied caseload and a supportive work environment with no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
• Active Georgia veterinary license or ability to obtain one.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to medicine.
• Ability to stay calm and work effectively in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical and surgical care for small animal patients.
• See a varied caseload including wellness, sick, urgent, walk-in, and drop-off appointments.
• Perform dentistry and surgical procedures based on experience and skill level.
• Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans for patients.
• Communicate treatment recommendations clearly and compassionately with clients.
• Collaborate with fellow veterinarians on challenging cases.
• Work closely with technicians and assistants to provide efficient, high-quality care.
• Support growth and development of the veterinary support team.
• Develop your own clinical interests and skills.
