Job summary

All God’s Creatures Veterinary Hospital in Augusta, Georgia is looking for a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our busy small animal practice with wellness visits, emergencies, dentistry, and surgery. Our doctors have the freedom to practice medicine their way while collaborating with a team that supports one another.

New graduates receive mentorship from doctors who collaborate on challenging cases, while experienced veterinarians enjoy clinical autonomy and opportunities to grow medical

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
• Active Georgia veterinary license or ability to obtain one.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach to veterinary medicine.
• Ability to stay calm and work effectively in a busy environment.
• Commitment to compassionate patient care and client service.
• Interest in continued learning and clinical growth.
• Surgical proficiency is a plus, but not required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical and surgical care for small animal patients.
• See a varied caseload that includes wellness, sick, urgent, walk-in, and drop-off appointments.
• Perform dentistry and surgical procedures based on your experience and skill level.
• Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans for your patients.
• Communicate treatment recommendations clearly and compassionately with clients.
• Collaborate with fellow veterinarians on challenging cases and share ideas as a team.
• Work closely with technicians and assistants to provide efficient, high-quality patient care.
• Help support the continued growth and development of the veterinary support team.
• Continue developing your own clinical interests and skills.
