Job summary

All God's Creatures Veterinary Hospital in Augusta, Georgia seeks a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join our busy small animal practice. Enjoy mentorship for new grads and clinical autonomy for experienced doctors as you manage a varied caseload including wellness visits, emergencies, dentistry, and surgery.

The role offers a four 10-hour shift schedule with no required on-call, a generous benefits package, and opportunities to grow specialty interests within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
• Active Georgia veterinary license or ability to obtain one.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach to veterinary medicine.
• Ability to stay calm and work effectively in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical and surgical care for small animal patients.
• See a varied caseload that includes wellness, sick, urgent, walk-in, and drop-off appointments.
• Perform dentistry and surgical procedures based on your experience and skill level.
• Develop individualized diagnostic and treatment plans for your patients.
• Communicate treatment recommendations clearly and compassionately with clients.
• Collaborate with fellow veterinarians on challenging cases and share ideas as a team.
• Work closely with technicians and assistants to provide efficient, high-quality patient care.
• Help support the continued growth and development of the veterinary support team.
• Continue developing your own clinical interests and skills.
