Job summary

Veterinary Medical Center Northwest 1604 in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to join a brand-new, full-service small animal clinic. This associate position offers a 4-on/3-off schedule with 7 AM–4 PM or 9 AM–6 PM on weekdays and 8 AM–5 PM on weekends, plus a base salary of $135,000+ DOE.

You will provide wellness care, routine and soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and build a loyal client base while helping establish VMC1604 as the Northwest San Antonio go-to

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD from AVMA-accredited program.
• Active Texas veterinary license or eligibility.
• DEA registration or eligibility.
• Strong communication and client education.
• Willingness to mentor new grads and grow the practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide wellness and preventive care for dogs and cats.
• Perform routine and soft-tissue surgery and dental procedures.
• Utilize in-house diagnostics to guide treatment.
• Grow the practice by welcoming new patients and building client relations.
• Help shape the clinic's culture and medical standards.
