Job summary

Veterinary Medical Center Northwest 1604 in San Antonio, TX is a brand-new, full-service small animal clinic building from the ground up, and we’re looking for a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to grow with us. You’ll provide wellness, surgery, dentistry, and diagnostics with a focus on real relationships with clients and pets.

The schedule features 4 days on and 3 days off, with 7 AM–4 PM or 9 AM–6 PM on weekdays and 8 AM–5 PM on weekends, plus a base salary of $135,000+ depending on experience

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or ECFVG/PAVE equivalent).
• Active Texas veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• DEA registration (or eligibility).
• Strong communication skills and a genuine love for client education.
• Comfortable with routine surgery and dentistry (mentorship available — new grads encouraged to apply).
• A team player who wants to build something, not just clock in.

Veterinary Medical Center Northwest 1604 is a brand-new, full-service small animal clinic on the fast-growing Northwest side of San Antonio — and we're looking for a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to grow with us from the ground up.

We combine modern diagnostics and comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care with something that's become rare in veterinary medicine: real relationships with clients and their pets, and real work-life balance for our team. Our 4-on/3-off schedule means three full days off every single week, with predictable 9-hour shifts (7 AM–4 PM or 9 AM–6 PM on weekdays, 8 AM–5 PM on weekends) rotated fairly across the doctor team.
