High Country Veterinary Hospital in Southern Colorado Springs is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a privately owned, small-animal practice committed to high‑quality, compassionate care and a collaborative team environment. You will perform comprehensive examinations, diagnose and manage medical conditions, and perform routine surgical and dental procedures as appropriate.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited institution and Colorado license or eligibility.
• Clinical proficiency in companion-animal medicine, including exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients and team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Diagnose and manage a variety of companion-animal medical conditions.
• Perform routine surgical and dental procedures as appropriate to experience.
• Utilize diagnostics, including laboratory testing and imaging, to support patient care.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding diagnoses and preventive care.
• Collaborate with technicians and staff to ensure excellent patient care and client experience.
• Follow and contribute to hospital protocols and standards.
• Participate in ongoing learning and professional development.
• Provide occasional extended or flexible hours to support hospital operations.
