Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited institution and current, or eligible, California veterinary license.
• Strong clinical skills in companion animal medicine, including physical examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and basic surgical and dental procedures.
• Ability to interpret laboratory and diagnostic imaging results and integrate findings into comprehensive patient care.
• Clear, empathetic communication skills for discussing medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive care with clients.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with veterinary technicians, assistants, and administrative staff in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Commitment to animal welfare, client service, and adherence to hospital protocols, safety standards, and ethical practice.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development, continuing education, and learning new techniques or technologies.
• Experience in small animal general practice is preferred; new graduates with strong foundational skills and interest in mentorship are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and diagnose, treat, or manage a variety of medical conditions in companion animals.
