Job summary

Sage Veterinary Imaging, North America's premier cross‑sectional and neurologic imaging specialists, seeks an Associate Veterinarian for Advanced Imaging. You will work with board‑certified radiologists to deliver human‑quality diagnostic imaging and lead patients through anesthesia, imaging, and nuanced clinical decisions.

Qualifications

• DVM (or equivalent) and eligibility for state licensure.
• Experience in general practice, emergency, or specialty medicine.
• Strong competency in patient assessment, anesthesia, and medical decision‑making.
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with board‑certified radiologists, specialists, technicians, and referring veterinarians.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Commitment to exceptional patient care within a collaborative culture.
• Desire to mentor interns and contribute to veterinary education.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient examinations and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop diagnostic and treatment plans with referring veterinarians and radiologists.
• Provide anesthesia and sedation for MRI, CT, ultrasound, radiography, and other imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient safety and oversee recovery.
• Communicate imaging findings and recommendations to clients and referring veterinarians.
• Support efficient patient flow and daily hospital operations.
• Travel to other Sage locations to provide clinical support.
• Mentor interns and contribute to intern development.
