Job summary

Sage Veterinary Imaging seeks an experienced Medical Director to lead the Spring, Texas practice. You’ll direct medical standards, mentor clinicians and interns, and drive enterprise-wide clinical quality across our advanced diagnostic imaging network.

You will collaborate with radiologists, specialists, and leadership to align clinical priorities, improve patient outcomes, and support organizational initiatives while maintaining hands-on patient care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree.
• Eligible for Texas veterinary license or licensure in process.
• Five+ years of clinical veterinary experience.
• Demonstrated leadership through mentoring or program development.
• Strong clinical judgment and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care as a GP within Sage’s imaging environment.
• Lead Spring practice as senior clinical leader and direct medical standards.
• Develop Sage DVMs and interns with coaching and feedback.
• Strengthen diagnostic reasoning and case management.
• Provide enterprise-wide clinical guidance and standards of care.
• Lead enterprise-wide M&M reviews and translate findings into improvements.
• Advance clinical quality with collaboration across executives and clinicians.
