The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice responsibilities, including wellness / preventative care, internal medicine, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. There are opportunities for a three- or four-day workweek with no weekend requirements. Standard appointment times are 30 minutes, with appointments beginning at 8:00am and the final appointment scheduled at 5:15pm. The role is open to experienced veterinarians as well as new graduates who have previous clinic experience as a technician or assistant.
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm and offers a full scope of general practice services. The practice is well-equipped with electrocautery, a vessel sealer, companion laser, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, Oncura ultrasound, Abaxis in-house laboratory equipment, and Avimark EMR. The practice maintains a harmonious working environment and ensures a minimum 2:1 support staff-to-doctor ratio at all times.
