Waldorf Animal Clinic is located in Southern Maryland – our community was ranked #18 out of 50 in USA Today’s Best Cities to Live! We are searching for an Associate Veterinarian (experienced or a new graduate) as well as a Medical Director (5+ Years’ experience preferred) to join our busy, Small Animal Practice (full or part-time considered).
Our 3-DVM hospital has provided care to the Charles County area for over 40 years. We have a well-equipped facility with tools that allow you to practice quality medicine including ultrasound, digital radiography, laser therapy and digital dental technology. In our supportive and progressive environment, we encourage open communication where our staff can further their education and enjoy their work.
Conveniently located in Waldorf, Maryland, it’s only a short drive to Baltimore, Annapolis, and Washington, DC. Waldorf offers an abundance of shopping, restaurants, nightlife, and arts. Children enjoy a good school system and tons of parks and recreational activities. There are many riversides with cliffs and beaches for those who enjoy relaxation, sight-seeing, or a scenic hike. Love to go sailing, water skiing, or fishing? There are several local marinas which provide an easy place to park your boat or rent a day trip on the Chesapeake Bay. Sandy Point State Park is about 45 minutes northeast of Waldorf by car, touting a great beach right on the Chesapeake Bay. Marshes and creeks can also be found in the park, offering a home to blue crabs, herons, terrapins, rockfish, eagles, and other exciting wildlife.
We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. An interest in surgery is a must, as we tend to be quite busy.
