Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

Our client is a privately owned veterinary hospital in Massachusetts that has been established for 30 years. They are looking to hire an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The hospital sees dogs and cats and is looking for a full-time veterinarian but would also be open to considering part-time.

Role Description and Responsibilities

The Associate Veterinarian will provide general wellness and preventative care, diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries, perform routine surgeries and dental procedures, provide vaccinations and internal medicine, communicate with clients and develop treatment plans. The role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience, with doctor hours of 8am-5pm.

The hospital is open from 8am-5pm and is equipped with digital X-ray, lasers, in-house labs, IDEXX equipment and electronic records through Cornerstone. A visiting doctor is available to perform ultrasound when needed. Services offered include dermatology, geriatric care, laser therapy, diagnostics, therapeutic dentistry, microchipping and surgery.

Team

The hospital currently has 1 DVM and a comfortable level of support staff to support the day-to-day operations of the practice.
