Job description

Our client is a companion animal hospital seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Caring for cats and dogs, this opportunity offers the chance to provide high-quality veterinary care across a varied companion animal caseload in a modern and well-equipped practice.

The Associate Veterinarian is responsible for delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to companion animals while building strong relationships with clients through clear communication and education. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, interpreting diagnostic tests, performing routine soft tissue surgeries and dentistry where applicable, managing medical records accurately, and collaborating with the wider veterinary team to ensure the highest standard of patient care. The Associate Veterinarian will also promote preventative healthcare, maintain compliance with hospital protocols, and contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented working environment.

The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical technology to support high-quality companion animal medicine. Veterinarians have access to a comprehensive in-house laboratory for rapid blood work and diagnostic testing, digital radiography (X-ray), digital dental radiography, advanced diagnostic imaging, and modern anesthesia monitoring equipment. These resources enable the team to efficiently diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions while supporting preventive care, dentistry, and routine surgical procedures.
