Currently a one-doctor practice, we plan to add a second DVM in June 2025, with room to grow! Our facility includes five exam rooms and a highly skilled support staff (3:1 ratio), providing ample resources for your success.

Responsibilities / Qualifications

How you'll make an impact:

• Maintain and uphold the core values and mission of MVP.
• Diagnose, perform surgery, and treat patients.
• Maintain excellent client communication.
• Accurately record all medical, client, and case-related information.
• Review medical records, estimates, or discharge instructions with clients.
• Follow up with clients and discuss results.
• Set standards of care and protocols for medical and surgical procedures.

• Monitor practice growth and review financial reports.
• Communicate clearly and accurately in writing and verbally.

Qualifications

Ideal Qualifications:

• Ability to lead and set a vision for the team.
• Proficiency in basic surgeries and use of standard medical instruments and equipment.

• Proficiency in laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, surgery, dental, and nursing skills.
• Patience and composure in stressful and fast-paced situations.
• Calm and efficient during medical crises.
• Ability to administer SQ, IM, and IV injections.
• Knowledge of prescription drugs, their usage, dosage, side-effects, and client explanation.
• Understanding of anesthesia and recovery procedures.
• Ability to properly extubate, monitor temperature, and recover patients from anesthesia.
• Strong reasoning, memory, mathematical, and language skills in English.
• Proficiency in practice management software.
