Named for our founder’s mother, Hannah Pet Hospital is a dog & cat general practice looking for either a full-time or a part-time Associate DVM that will deliver exceptional medical care to our patients. The hospitals are staffed from 7:00 AM through 7:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, and, at times, only one doctor is on staff. Hannah’s mission is to help Pets live the longest, healthiest, happiest life possible with one forever family, at a reasonable and sustainable cost. Our Total Lifetime Care Plans provide high-quality preventive, illness and injury, dental, emergency and behavioral care to dogs and cats for one low monthly fee.
Our doctors do not need to explain or negotiate fees or treatment plan workups with Members because ALL treatments and diagnostics are included in the Member’s Total Lifetime Care (TLC) plan. Our doctors focus on providing compassionate, quality care for the well-being of each Pet. A trained and proficient paraprofessional staff does the majority of the physical work required for each Pet while the doctors focus on diagnostics and client communication.
Doctors are paid an agreed salary that is not based on production or what you “sell”. Full-time is defined as 6 days every other week or 3 days every week. Full-time compensation is over $150,000 per year plus a full suite of great benefits including a generous annual deferred compensation/retirement plan.
Training, Education, and Licensing Requirements:
An applicant must be competent to practice canine and feline general practice as well as have a DVM degree or equivalent, a current state veterinary license in good standing, a current DEA license, and appropriate USDA accreditation. Lots of experience is a plus. Good ethics, morals, and CE is required.
Any offer of employment is contingent on our receipt of acceptable professional references, successful completion of our pre-employment drug screening as requested, and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
