Our client is a privately owned small animal practice providing care to cats and dogs, with the opportunity to expand into other species depending on the interests of the incoming veterinarian. They are looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part‑time basis. The practice offers a great family‑feel culture and is located close to one of the best beaches in the area.
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for all duties associated with working as a General Practice Veterinarian. The position can be tailored around the incoming veterinarian’s clinical interests, including the option to have no surgical responsibilities if desired. The opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and is closed on weekends. Appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes. The practice is equipped with digital X‑ray, digital dental X‑ray, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, in‑house laboratory capabilities and electronic medical records. Facilities include three examination rooms, as well as separate surgery and dental suites.
The hospital currently provides a full scope of general practice services and would love to expand into advanced surgery. They are equally open to developing other services based on the passions and interests of the incoming veterinarian, including areas such as Eastern medicine or acupuncture.
The practice currently has one veterinarian, with plans to eventually grow to a four‑DVM team. Each veterinarian will be supported by a minimum 3:1 technician‑to‑doctor ratio, alongside a practice manager based at the clinic.
