We are looking for a Full or Part-Time positive, self-motivated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian for a very busy, Small Animal, 3 doctor practice. Prefer to have orthopedic and soft-tissue surgical skills. Must have an interest in ultrasound, possible exotic/small mammal medicine, and educating our wonderful support staff and amazing clientele. Established veterinarians and new grads are welcome. We love to mentor! Full-Time is only scheduled 35 hours a week!
The veterinarian has the primary responsibility for patient care. He or she must strive to provide the highest quality medical and surgical care for our patients. The veterinarian must be able to pay attention to detail, respond quickly and calmly to crises, and provide exceptional customer service, showing care and concern for his or her patients. In addition, the veterinarian must able to promote teamwork, organize/delegate staff activities and communicate well with staff members. While we attempt to stick to a regular schedule, it is impossible to predict exactly how long each patient will require care and doctors are expected to complete required care regardless of when their shift ends. Professional dress and demeanor is required. Veterinarians are expected to maintain their state licenses and DEA registration and pursue regular continuing education. Participation in leading in-house CE meetings is encouraged.
Veterinarians need to be able to lift up to 50# unaided and be able to stand for most of the day.
