Long Island Bird & Exotics Veterinary Clinic (LIBEVC) – Great Neck, NY

Long Island Bird & Exotics Veterinary Clinic is a specialty hospital focused entirely on birds and exotic animals. We treat a wide range of species including avian, small mammals, reptiles, and more, and we’re known for high-quality care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

We’re looking for an associate veterinarian who is interested in exotic animal medicine and wants to grow. Board-certified or board-eligible candidates are welcome, but we’re also open to experienced veterinarians with a strong interest in exotics. We also welcome inquiries from veterinarians interested in pursuing an internship with a strong focus on avian and exotic species.

What the role looks like

You’ll see a mix of wellness visits and complex medical and surgical cases. You’ll work closely with an experienced team, collaborate on case management, and use advanced tools like CT and ultrasound. You’ll have strong support, so you can focus on practicing great medicine.
