Tempus Veterinary Recruitment is seeking an Associate Veterinarian for a modern AAHA-accredited hospital in Middleton, Idaho. You will join a collaborative team of three veterinarians, practicing high-quality medicine for small animals and exotic pets with Fear Free and low-stress handling.

Introduction

An AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital in Middleton, Idaho is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative team of three veterinarians. This well-established practice provides comprehensive care for small animals and exotic pets, combining high clinical standards with a welcoming, team-focused culture. With Fear Free Certified veterinarians and a strong commitment to low-stress handling, the hospital prioritises exceptional patient care while creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners. The practice is open Monday to Saturday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and closed on Sundays, offering a full-time schedule that supports a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities

As an Associate Veterinarian, you'll provide high-quality medical and surgical care across a varied caseload that includes wellness and preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and urgent care appointments. You'll also have the opportunity to see exotic pets, broadening your clinical experience while working closely with experienced colleagues and a skilled support team. The role encourages collaboration, clinical autonomy, and continuous learning, with access to mentorship, internal specialist consultations, and structured professional development.
