Who we are

San Diego Pet Hospital team is looking for a Veterinarian to join our team. Our philosophy is to be fair and transparent with our clients and advocates for their pets. We offer transparency, simplicity, and options to best meet our clients' needs. Our hospital focuses on practice with a "family feel".

We provide exceptional care to our patients with progressive medicine including surgery, digital radiology, ultrasound, preventative care, lab work, and more. Our care is supportive, ethical, and empathetic within a collaborative and supportive doctor and team environment.

We are located in Lemon Grove, a suburb of San Diego, and are the longest continuously operating animal clinic in all of San Diego, established in 1942. We have a well-equipped facility with a devoted and highly skilled staff. We have a passion for supporting an emotionally intelligent atmosphere with a culture that understands the importance of a great work/life balance.

Experience & Skills Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
  • State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
  • Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL range starting at $140,000 / year. The actual salary offered will be carefully considered in a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
