Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists of San Antonio is seeking a second Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. Our hospital supports a network of 400 clinics nationwide and is dedicated to advanced patient care and mentorship.

We provide on-site CT, MRI, ultrasound, endoscopy, a full pharmacy, and an in-house blood bank, plus an ER Academy internship program to foster clinical excellence and career development.

Qualifications

  • DVM/VMD degree required or equivalent.
  • State license in good standing before start date.
  • Active DEA license or eligibility.
  • Board certification or residency training in veterinary surgery.

Experience & Skills Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
  • State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, before their start date.
  • Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
  • Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon (DACVS) or Residency Trained Veterinarian.
