Job summary

The Country Vet, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner in Marin County, seeks an Associate Veterinarian to join our well-established small-animal hospital. You will provide comprehensive medical care, build ongoing client relationships, and collaborate with a dedicated team in a supportive, community-focused setting.

Open Monday to Friday with a strong emphasis on patient well-being, continuous learning, and high clinical standards.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree is required.
  • State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date.
  • Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Provide veterinary care for small animals and collaborate with the Thrive Pet Healthcare team to deliver high-quality medical services.
  • Uphold high standards of medical excellence and foster collaboration within the team environment.

Education

DVM / VMD or equivalent degree

Experience & Skills Requirements

The Country Vet is a well-established small animal veterinary hospital located in beautiful Marin County. We are looking to add a veterinarian to our team. We have been in business for over 35 years and have a large client base, great support staff, and other experienced and friendly veterinarians to work with.

Our hospital has a collaborative experienced team and a committed to a positive work environment - we pursue growth and learning as we strive for greatness. We pride ourselves on compassionate care and high standards of medical excellence.

We are open Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 6:00 pm.

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an annual PROSAL full-time range starting at $150,000.00/year. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
