Job description

Thrive Decatur is looking for an experienced, full-time Veterinarian to join our team in Decatur, GA!

About You

You’ve built a strong foundation in veterinary medicine and are ready for an opportunity where you can put that experience to work while continuing to grow. You’re confident managing a diverse caseload, value collaboration, and understand the importance of building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

At Thrive Decatur, you’ll have the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine alongside a supportive team while bringing your own experience, perspective, and clinical interests to the hospital. We’re looking for a veterinarian who enjoys being part of a team, is comfortable taking ownership of cases, and can serve as a trusted resource for both clients and colleagues.

Our progressive compensation model includes competitive base salaries with production compensation opportunities - plus, no negative accrual.

About Thrive Decatur

Located just outside of Atlanta, Thrive Decatur is a small‑animal primary care practice serving dogs, cats, and the families who love them throughout Decatur and the surrounding Atlanta communities. Our hospital focuses on accessible, relationship‑based veterinary care while giving doctors the tools and support they need to practice quality medicine.

Our team provides comprehensive general practice care, including wellness and preventive medicine, vaccinations, sick‑patient care, routine diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery. With an established client base and a varied caseload, our doctors have the opportunity to build long‑term relationships with patients while continuing to strengthen their medical and surgical skills.

For an experienced veterinarian, Thrive Decatur offers the opportunity to step into a practice where your knowledge and clinical judgment are valued. You’ll have the ability to contribute to the continued growth of the hospital, collaborate with your team, and help shape an environment centered around excellent medicine, strong client relationships, and a positive team culture.

We are open Monday - Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and closed Sunday.

Our Decatur location also offers the advantage of being part of the greater Atlanta veterinary community while maintaining the feel of a neighborhood practice. Decatur combines easy access to Atlanta with its own vibrant community, local restaurants and shops, parks, and established neighborhoods, making it an appealing place to build both a career and a life.

As part of Thrive Pet Healthcare, you’ll have the support of a nationwide veterinary community while still having the opportunity to make an impact within your local hospital. Thrive provides access to professional development, continuing education, leadership resources, and a connected network of veterinary professionals across primary, emergency, and specialty medicine.
