Job description

Parrish Creek Veterinary Hospital & Diagnostic Center is a well-established small animal and exotics facility. We are located just north of scenic Salt Lake City in Centerville, at the bed of the Wasatch Mountain foothills. We’ve been the go-to hospital for avian and exotic medicine for the last 30 years and have a board-certified avian specialist on staff (one of only two in the state of Utah).

We have also enjoyed the reputation in our community of maintaining a high standard of medical care and our goal is to exceed our clients’ expectations with our excellent customer service and communication. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an Associate DVM who shares our values and mission.

Our goal is to practice the gold standard of care. To do so, we are equipped with a state-of-the-art facility that includes digital radiology, digital dental radiology, ultrasound, CT imaging, and an in-house laboratory. Our patients are evenly split with 50% canine/feline & 50% avian/exotic. Our ideal candidate would be ready to jump in and have a wide range of experience to care for all species.

A typical work schedule is 40 hours a week, but we are flexible and can tailor to your needs and preferences. However, all doctors share Saturdays with abbreviated hours. We are also closed on Sundays with no after-hour emergencies to help maintain a proper work-life balance.

Requirements

Must be a licensed DVM (or have the ability to become licensed) in the state of Utah.

Compensation and Benefits

Available to qualified candidates is a generous compensation and benefits plan, which is also competitive and commensurate with experience, including:

Responsibilities
