Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of Underwriting support or industry experience with excess and surplus lines preferred.
• Proven experience in sales and marketing preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Service a book of business under supervision of an underwriter.
• Evaluate, classify, and rate risks to prepare quotes.
• Log applications, prepare binders, and process policies and endorsements.
• Bind risk, post the invoice, and process technical data.
• Screen renewal applications and prepare quotes for underwriter approval.
• Assist with new business development.
• Order inspections and follow up on endorsements and referrals.
