Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in transportation planning, urban planning, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Two years of transportation planning experience.
• Equivalency: combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support transportation planning studies to address multimodal problems and opportunities; write and edit reports and present findings for citywide and neighborhood plans.
• Provide transportation planning, policy, research, and technical guidance to advance SDOT initiatives.
• Develop and implement public and agency outreach plans with presentations for diverse audiences.
• Maintain effective working relations with peers, agencies, community groups, consultants, and organizations.
• Apply knowledge of traffic engineering, project management, and policy analysis.
