Job summary

Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) seeks an Associate Transportation Planner to join the Policy & Planning division. The role includes professional-level transportation planning and policy tasks, supporting citywide plans, corridors, and neighborhoods, with engagement across City staff and the public.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in transportation planning, urban planning, civil engineering, or related field.
Two years of transportation planning experience.

Provide policy guidance and technical support for SDOT initiatives.
Create public-facing materials and briefing documents; present findings to diverse audiences.
