Job summary

Pennoni Associates seeks an Associate Transportation Civil Engineer to join our Virginia Beach, VA office. Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills–both oral and written.
• Experience preparing technical reports and memorandums.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a design team delivering transportation projects for clients such as VDOT, NCDOT, and regional agencies.
• Contribute to transportation improvement, safety, bridge replacement and multi-use trail projects.
• Develop maintenance of traffic schemes, construction phasing and traffic control plans.
• Prepare project cost estimates and specifications, including special provisions.
• Provide construction consultation as needed.
