Clearway Energy Group is seeking an Associate, Training Developer in San Diego, CA. This role involves designing, developing, and evaluating training programs for field technicians and leaders. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of technical training experience, strong project management skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff.
Responsibilities include working with SMEs to ensure the effectiveness of training solutions and managing multiple projects concurrently. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; a Master's is preferred.
The Associate, Training Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating technical training programs for Clearway field technicians and front‑line leaders. This experienced individual contributor role requires experience in energy, industrial operations, workforce development, or other technical environments. The Associate, Training Developer leads projects, mentors junior training developers, and serves as a subject matter expert in learning and development. The role ensures training solutions are effective, scalable, and aligned with organizational objectives, working both independently and collaboratively with subject matter experts and operational stakeholders.
Location preference for San Diego, CA or Scottsdale, AZ; will consider strong candidates in other corporate office locations.

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, relevant and demonstrated experience, education, training and certifications, and other factors permitted by law. This role is eligible to earn an annual cash bonus, subject to personal and company performance goals.
Salary Range Across all U.S. Locations: $89,000 — $110,000 USD
