Job summary

Gaynor Staffing is seeking an Associate – Trader in Chicago, IL to join our investment team. The role focuses on executing trades, maintaining models, and supporting portfolio management in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a finance-related degree and at least 2 years of investment management experience, with CFA/Series 65 progress as a plus. This full-time role reports to the Director of Trading and emphasizes accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment management, preferably within a wealth management or asset management firm.
• Professional certifications (working toward CFA, Series 65, etc.) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute trades efficiently across multiple custodians using a range of applications, ensuring best practices.
• Execute trades seamlessly across multiple investment vehicles using various trading software platforms to ensure precision and efficiency in the trading process.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of trading workflows, systems, and processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Prepare, maintain, and analyze trading and portfolio reports to monitor activity and support investment decision-making.
• Analyze portfolios, trade activity, and investment data to support portfolio management and trading decisions.
• Collaborate with the client service team to address any trading-related inquiries or needs.
