Centex Auto Title in Austin, TX is seeking an energetic Associate Title Clerk at our FM812 branch. You will guide clients through title and registration, ensure accuracy and compliance, and turn what can be a stressful errand into a smooth, positive experience that customers will remember.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1 year of customer service, bilingual English and Spanish, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus
• Previous experience in the automotive industry, specifically with title and registration processes, is preferred
• Customer service experience: 1 year (required)
• Google Suite experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Proficient computer data entry skills and the ability to navigate multiple computerized information systems
• Adaptability, flexibility, and strong attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• Valid driver's license (required)
• Able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Guiding clients through the title and registration process: Serve as the main point of contact for customers during title and registration transactions, explaining the title transfer and registration renewal processes clearly and confidently.
• Processing automobile registrations and title transfers: Ensure accuracy of documentation and adherence to legal requirements, working closely with relevant government agencies to keep things moving quickly.
• Being an expert in the field: Stay current on title and registration laws, regulations, and industry best practices, and share that knowledge with colleagues and clients.
• Maintaining rigorous standards of excellence: Bring a keen eye for detail, precision, and thoroughness to every task, following established processes to keep quality consistently high.
• Creating a positive, memorable experience for every customer: Build genuine relationships, meet needs with professionalism and empathy, and go the extra mile to exceed expectations.
