Job summary

PsychPlus in Irvine, CA is hiring a Virtual IOP Therapist to lead adults in online group sessions Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–9:00 PM. This fully remote role serves California clients.

We seek AMFT, APCC or ASW with a California license and experience in group therapy or IOP/PHP. Strong facilitation and communication are essential.

You will document sessions, collaborate with the clinical team, and help clients develop coping skills and sustained recovery in a supportive virtual setting.

Qualifications

• Active California license required.
• Experience in adult mental health, group therapy, or IOP/PHP settings preferred.
• Strong group facilitation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging, evidence-based virtual group therapy sessions for adults enrolled in the IOP.
• Support clients in developing coping skills, emotional regulation, and strategies for sustained recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support treatment goals and continuity of care.

NOW HIRING: Virtual IOP Therapist – Adults

Location: Irvine, CA | Remote | Part Time

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–9:00 PM

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated AMFT, APCC or AWS to facilitate virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) groups for adults. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who enjoys group therapy and wants to support adults in their mental health and recovery journey through accessible, virtual care.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging, evidence-based virtual group therapy sessions for adults enrolled in the IOP.
• Support clients in developing coping skills, emotional regulation, and strategies for sustained recovery.

• Ability to work consistently Monday to Thursday, 5:00 PM–9:00 PM.
• Comfortable providing therapy through a virtual platform.

Compensation & Schedule

• Rate as per group session.
• Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–9:00 PM.
• Fully remote position serving adult clients in California.
