Job summary

PsychPlus is hiring a Virtual IOP Therapist for adults in California. The role is part-time and remote, with evening hours to support Monday-Thursday sessions.

You will facilitate tele-therapy group sessions, help clients build coping skills and recovery strategies, and maintain compliant documentation. The ideal candidate holds a California LMFT or LPCC license and is comfortable with virtual care.

Qualifications

• Active California license as an LMFT or LPCC.
• Experience in adult mental health, group therapy, or IOP/PHP settings.
• Strong group facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work Monday to Thursday, 6:00 PM–9:00 PM.
• Comfortable providing therapy through a virtual platform.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging, evidence-based virtual group therapy sessions for adults enrolled in the IOP.
• Support clients in developing coping skills, emotional regulation, and strategies for sustained recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support treatment goals and continuity of care.

Location: Irvine, CA | Remote | Part Time

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 PM–9:00 PM

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated LMFT or LPCC to facilitate virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) groups for adults. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who enjoys group therapy and wants to support adults in their mental health and recovery journey through accessible, virtual care.

Key Responsibilities
